City Prevails in Lawsuit
Judge Blocks Challenges to City Council Approval of World Logistics Center Initiatives
In a significant victory for the City, a judge resoundingly affirmed the Moreno Valley City Council’s adoption of voter initiatives approving the World Logistics Center (WLC). The initiatives, unanimously adopted by the City Council last November, collectively contained nearly 50,000 signatures of Moreno Valley voters attesting to the support of the project and the promise of jobs and other significant economic, technological and social benefits for the community. Cal Trans LogoState Route 60 Pavement Replacement Project
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) continues work on the State Route 60 (SR-60) pavement replacement project between the 60/215 Interchange and Gilman Springs Road and between Jack Rabbit Trail and the SR-60/Interstate 10 (I-10) Interchange. The $18.3 million project is expected to end June 2017. East and westbound SR-60 from Moreno Beach Drive to Gilman Springs Road will be reduced to ONE lane nightly between August 22nd and September 6th during the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. Moreno Beach Drive, Redlands Blvd, Theodore Street, and Gilman Springs Road on/off-ramps will be closed at various times between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Find out more...

The Draft Environmental Impact Report (P15-037) for the proposed Moreno Valley Logistics Center is complete and available for public review and comment. The project case numbers are PA15-0014-PA15-0018, P15-036 and P15-037. The project site is located in the southern portion of the City, south of Krameria Avenue, north of Cardinal Avenue, east of Heacock Street and the March Air Reserve Base, and west of Indian Street.
