Attached ADUs

Attached ADUs are connected to the primary structure.
An attached ADU is an addition to the existing foundational structure, generally added to the side or back of the house. Attached ADUs connect the new structure to the primary house using at least one connecting wall.
The City will create a separate address (separate electric meter is not required but recommended).
They are self-sufficient dwellings and contain a kitchen, a living area, bathroom facilities, and bedroom(s) with a maximum size of 1,000 square feet. There should also be privacy from the main dwelling.
