        CITY HALL AND SOLAR CARPORT                                            KNOW?


        The City Hall Solar Carport is directly connected to the utility’s   Karma  Automotive  is  Southern  California’s
        distribution grid and was brought on-line in August 2018. The
        solar  system  charges  a  battery  storage  unit  that  provides   only  electric  hybrid,  high-performance  luxury
        power  to  the  City’s  electric  vehicle  charging  stations.  This   auto  manufacturer,  and  the  plant  is  located

        powered by the sun!                                          right here in Moreno Valley!  In 2018 the Karma
                                                                     Revero earned the nod from Green Car Journal
                                                                     as “Luxury Green Car of the Year.”



                                                                     The vehicle’s combination of iconic design and
                                                                     innovative  electric  plug-in  drive  technology
                                                                     contributed to the judges’ decision to choose
                                                                     the  Karma  Revero  as  the  winner.  Finalists  for
                                                                     the  competition  included  the  BMW  530e,
                                                                     Cadillac CT6 Plug-In, Lexus LS 500H and Porsche

                                                                     Panamera 4 E-Hybrid.

















        Lobby Kiosk

        An informational kiosk located in the City Hall lobby displays
        real-time  solar  production  and  greenhouse  gas  emission
        reduction statistics.
