CUSTOMERS
                                      MVU takes great pride in providing outstanding service to our customers.
                                      Our goal is to ensure that our programs and services create value and meet
                                      the needs of our customers.

                                      highlights from fiscal year 16/17


                                      In May 2017 MVU completed the installation of three electric vehicle charging
                                      stations at the City Hall parking lot. Two Level 2 chargers, which can fully
                                      charge some electric vehicles in just four hours were installed along with a fast
                                      charge station capable of providing an 80% charge in 30 minutes. The project

                                      was funded in part by grants from the South Coast Air Quality Management
                                      District with the purpose of promoting  an electric vehicle fast charging
                                      network throughout Southern California.


                                      MVU partnered with Southern California Gas Company and March Middle
                                      School to provide 6th grade students an opportunity to learn about electricity,
                                      natural gas, and conservation. The five-day teaching plan includes classroom
                                      instruction, hands-on experiments, and activities. All materials align with state
                                      and national academic standards. A total of 262 students and three science

                                      teachers received the free kits and materials.


                                      Lakeside Terrace Shopping Center wanted to brighten their parking lot lighting
                                      and save energy at the same time – they contacted MVU regarding incentives
                                      for a retrofit to LED lighting. The completed project is expected to save the
                                      shopping center more than $18,000 a year in energy and maintenance costs.

                                      upcoming programs


                                      A valuable customer program under development is a new mobile application
                                      that will allow customers to review their usage, pay their bills, and quickly
                                      apply for rebates on Energy Star appliances from any Android or iOS mobile
                                      device. Customers will also be able to receive energy savings tips to help
                                      reduce their bill.



                                      In the fall of 2018, MVU will be seeking feedback from customers regarding
                                      satisfaction with existing programs, suggestions for future rebate and incentive
                                      programs, and feedback regarding overall satisfaction with the service MVU
                                      provides.
