Moreno Valley had a busy and exciting 2022. We celebrated together at great city events, repaired
our roads, opened new businesses, added more parks, built new trails, and provided world-class
customer service to our community.

Our Mayor and City Council approved historic multimillion-dollar investments to bolster essential city
services. Moreno Valley’s groundbreaking project funding levels will allow our team to move forward
with long-awaited road rehabilitation projects, exciting upgrades to our parks, strengthening our
public safety services by hiring more deputies, adding a Fire Medic Squad, recruiting a new Park
Ranger, and more.

Thanks to the leadership of the Mayor and City Council, and the outstanding dedication of our
City employees, Moreno Valley has continued to establish itself as the ideal place to live, work,
and play.

This annual report provides departmental metrics and highlights that demonstrate the scope of
our innovative and collaborative efforts in 2022.
