M to be Lighted in Recognition of Americans with Disabilities Act
Awareness Day

Moreno Valley’s iconic M on Box Springs Mountain will shine in green the evening of Sunday, July 26, in recognition of Americans with Disabilities Act Awareness Day. The M will be lighted green from dusk to midnight.

“The Americans with Disabilities Act has successfully brought the needs and perspectives of people with disabilities into the mainstream conversation for the past 30 years,” said Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez, Mayor of Moreno Valley, “and we have all benefited from it.”

The M is lighted almost nightly in recognition of holidays and observances important to the community. To find out why it’s lighted in a particular color, visit www.moval.org/mschedule.
