City Offices Closed Fridays Due to BudgetCity offices in Moreno Valley are closed to the public on Fridays. The Friday closures are due to budget cuts and reflect a reduction in work hours for City employees, which results in a 10% pay reduction. Updated hours of operation for all City facilities are noted below:
* The Friday closures of the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter will not impact the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter Clinic located next to the Shelter at 14041 Elsworth Street. The Clinic offers veterinary services provided by Dr. Marshall E. Scott DVM, and will continue to be open to the public Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (closed 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. for lunch). ** The Moreno Valley Electric Utility office located at the City Annex (14325 Frederick Street, Suite 9) will have a cashier available on Fridays. *** The Conference and Recreation Center will be available on Fridays for rentals and some classes, and access to the Fitness 19 health facility will still be available seven days per week.
