Emerging Leaders Council

Emerging Leaders Council

The Parks & Community Services Department is currently seeking Moreno Valley residents, 14-20 years old, who have an interest in local government and serving the City of Moreno Valley community, to apply as a member of the Emerging Leaders Council (ELC).

Responsibilities will include attending regular monthly meetings where the ELC will assess and recommend policies, programs, and projects based on their experiences and community’s needs. A seat on the ELC provides an opportunity for members to explore their interests, participate in local government activities and gain professional experience while serving their community. Members will receive stipends for attending meetings.

The ELC meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 6 p.m., Conference and Recreation Center - Teen S.P.O.T., 14075 Frederick St.
